Hi my name is Debbie Wardle, I live in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire England I am 47 and I have been painting now for just over 3 year and i can tell you that i love it.
my education in art and painting started way, way back in school but has over the past 3 year been brought back to life by my friend, teacher and mentor a lovely man called Mr Ken Charlesworth. It is with Ken's teachings and support that i feel that i have come on so well.
in my frist two year nearly all of my work has been produced using coloured pencil. Well i had a go at learning wtercolours and i can tell you its not for me, but i have over the past year been learning and working with oils and wow i am loving it.
I have done a few private commissions both in coloured pencils and oils. My first commision was for my grandson Matty i did his portrait and he paid me a penny, being as he was only 7 at the time i believe it was his way of supporting me.Â
 i have a love of trees and i am enjoy painting them.
